I was wondering if anyone has used a gold in sand hand dredge, and if the new models come with the screw on lid. I was wondering if they work good, ok ect, and how fast they fill up the bucket. Thanks might purchase one. Jess

The truth be told, my age does start to,show. Time to fill? In some places less than an hour-others half the day. I use mine as a crevice sucker. It does very well. Marv

Well i wanted to know if you find gold with it? I kinda like the fact that you can actuly pump dirt in the river right into the bucket, and then go sluice the dirt. I have a keene creves sucker and its ok but don't hold much dirt. Takes me a few sec to fill it up. But it don't have much of a sucking power to it, and wanted to know how much force the gold n sand pump has.. Living in California we can use them on sertian spots and not on others like blm land, and state park areas. Thanks Jess.

To get gold with the hand dredge, I have to pull the handle hard and fast. Best workout I have had in a long time. I am going into Northern California and Southern Oregon in the next week and will get another workout. Your question of does it get gold? Oh yes!

What part of Nor-cal? I live here too. Im in Paradise CA which is a few hrs south of reading and 10 min from Chico. SO its a wise investment?

I like the Klamath River in Northern California and the lower Rogue in Southern Oregon. Both have been fun to play in.Asking me if it is a wise investment? My wife would say no. She would just as soon spend more of my time around home. As to where I live currently I live in Portland and make the drive as often as I can. I only hope to have a better year then last, but the truth be known I am always glad to be out with friends. I have a friend that on our last trip recovered a quarter of an ounce of gold with his gold and sand hand dredge. Please understand, that is way more than I like to work. I also detect with my MXT PRO. Have fun and if we meet, my pleasure sir. Marv

Jess,
I just posted a video on the Gold n Sand here about a week ago Check it out.it shows the amount of material I got with a few strokes and the gold contained therein
