Gold n' Gobblers

The crack of dawn found me in the turkey woods, instead of on the beach, and it was a blue bird sun up.
If you have never heard a "hot" gobbler singing his love song, in the wild, you've been missing one of natures world wonders. It lifts those tiny hairs on the base of your neck, staight out.
Luck was on my side and had 3 young gobblers come to my calling and there'll be turkey soup brewing soon.
I sacrificed my nap to head down to the beach for low tide after seeing it was gonna be and minus tide, plus Max's post had gave me a shot of adrenaline.
Targets actually were few, but luck was still clinging to me and about 15 yds. from the boardwalk, I found the wedding band. Should have bought some lottery tickets, but I didn't, that's how much I despise NJ's thieving government.
My retirement really has my timeclock off. While at the beach, I saw all the prep for the upcoming season. Now, I realize Memorial Day weekend is only a full moon away.
Hope everyone has a golden season. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

A similar rush indeed, both of which I have experienced. This year I'm so mad at the treasure that I have shelved the fishing and turkey hunting. Nice gobbler & loot houndawgg!

Nice bird.
Nice ring.
The best of both worlds.

but I've found life is all about balance. Obession with "one" thing will make one <b>Coo Coo</b>. Life is shor, get all the Gusto ya can. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Well duck season will be here before ya know it and hopefully Dad and I will be at it again. He's as obsessed about the ducks as I am about the treasure. Recreation in general helps keep me balanced. Have a good one houndawgg.

The heck with the ring. How long was the beard??Just kidding. Both are nice.
