For the members from USA who havent seen the pit, here is a short vid showing the blast
from a hundred odd tonnes of explosive gear..

Also if coming to WA, AUS why not call into the lookout at the pit and witness a blast
in the raw, here are the phone numbers to get the blasting times for each day
The public lookout is open 7.00am to 9.00pm daily and allows you to take a look at this enormous mining operation in action. Blasting occurs regularly and while advance notice is given where possible, for the most up to date information telephone the public inquiry line on 08 9022 1100 or contact the Kalgoorlie Goldfields Visitor Centre on 08 9021 1966
