Hi All,
I thought this would grab your attention!
How many of you are tired of not knowing the difference between a pulltab and a gold ring with your top end detector, or a coin on the surface and a sqaushed coke can 10 inches down?
Well - me too!
Soooo.... I'm going to revolutionize the field of detecting!
BY INVENTING A METAL DETECTOR THAT TELLS YOU WHAT METAL IS BENEATH YOUR COIL...NOT JUST VDI NUMBER..
IE - GOLD / SILVER / COPPER
Would anyone be interested in such a unit?
I wonder what the big manufacturers would pay for the patent rights of such a unit.
Well- Im starting work on it... no promises though...
I know I am only one man.... compared to the big companies who have entire development teams.... but think about where lifes biggest discoveries have come from through history...
OK - enough waffle - let me get on with my research!
oh yes - I can hear a lot of you laughing... dont blame you... nothing ventured nothing gained..
happy hunting!
John

Just out of interest John... what is your experience in electronics, etc?

Hi - I have 20+ years of design experience in electronics.
It may be a pipe dream though - if it were possible it probably would be on the shelves already - just something to stretch the grey matter a bit..
JOhn

ok - will do - will be quite a challenge..
thanks for all the encouragement guys!
John
