has anyone used the eureka gold or the goldbug 2 at the beach or any gold machine ive been using a cz5 and want to try something new was wondering will a gold machine work at the beach. what u guy think,

hiya ,,i think they will be too high a frequency to use at the beach,,they will probably go crazy with the salt,,,,maybe dry sand will be o.k. but i dont know,,,they will see the salt as iron,,,and all these type machines see iron,,,,best of luck with it though,,,rgds ...p.s. let me know how you get on,,rgds :ukflag:

They will work in dry sand but not in the wet salt areas. In dry sand you can hunt for micro-gold with a nugget detector. Expect to dig about a hundred tiny pieces of aluminum foil for every good target. You will want to bring along a very fine sifter so you don't loose those small targets.

The Infinium is a great nugget machine and a great beach machine. Also has much more depth than a high
frequency VLF nugget machine. Waterproof to boot and works in salt water on black sand beaches.
