It's been almost a year since I've come across any gold. Pretty depressing. I was happy just to pick up this ring the other day. Low quality diamonds set in silver, but better than the junk I've been digging up lately.

Gold is so scarce, I'm happy with just silver.

I am happy with any ring which I dig up. They are so far in between in lakes, and any ring found is a ring to appreciated. But then again......gold is good!
