Hi guys, well I hunted last night for 4 hours by torch light, and I found 2 rings, I gold :) and 1 silver. I also got an old coin called a floren from 1933, it's worth

Thats my Huckleberry! :clapping: Very happy for you! You really put in the effort and were rewarded! Get it all while you can...tough in the rain, wind and cold, but what can a guy do? It may be all sanded back in in a fortnight or sooner...I hope you find another monsterous chain, gold coin, big ring, whatever!

Way to go. It was just a matter of time considering all the sinkers you've found. Congrats on the gold and silver. I hunt the beaches exclusively at night (2 small kids and a day job) and I can recommend the headlights of Petzl. That way I can keep both hands free.

Nice one mate, when youre hitting the lead weights, your in the right area and the gold will be close by, as youve found :)
with the storms you are having down there and the amount of sand taken off the beaches, I expect you to be getting at least 30+ rings when you a hit a pay gully!! :detecting::surprised:
Shame I cant make it down your way at the moment, i'm gutted, seen the pics on the news, youve got some scary tidal conditions...stay safe mate
Good luck :beers:
