My friend found this 200 year old gold box on sunday and inside were 4 gold manicure tools.

It measures about 4" long and was detected by Paul Clayton at about 12".

I think I will get myself a F75 this week.Jerry.

Glad you guys like seeing what the F75 can do if the user is lucky enough to walk over a find.Jerry.

We may have dated it to the year 1826 and from sheffield,England.

We are still looking for the Goldsmith.?N

Good game this metal detecting.Jerry.

looks like brass if it was gold then I would hunt that area till you drop.

It gets better the Top man at British museum is now involved.

Hallmarks have been found inside the neck of the main section.
