Well, almost gold as I think the two fish scales are gold plated. My buddy Lee and I went to yet another pounded to death park and there is till stuff there. Lee kicked my butt for most old coins. He got five wheats with three being in the teens, a gold platted locket I believe, a nice 1911 Barber dime, a 1902 Indian and either some kind of a token or foreign coin. I got the two fish scales which looks like they might have come from a bracelet. They are both dated 1910 and you can see on the edges where other links were soldered on the edges of the coins at one time and I'm guessing it must have been a bracelet at one time. They do appear to be gold plated and I will have a jeweler look at them and see what he thinks. I tried in vain to find the rest of the bracelet, but no such luck. After our lunch break I only managed to get a little bit more clad and a silver Mother Mary pendant, but I'm not complaining as it was nice to get out again after being down with the flu bug for two weeks. I also got a goof for car wash token. Thought it was a half dollar at first, but wishful thinking. Also got what looks like one of those horns we use to have on our bikes when we were kids. Not sure what it's off of and really surprised me that my SE picked it up.It was a fun day with no rain for a change and as always it's nice to hunt with your good detecting buddy. Thanks for looking and GL & HH to everyone.
