Gold Finds with AT Pro

Val

New member
Hi to All, I have been reading this forum periodically since last summer, when I started my detecting career in earnest. I am now retired and have the time to pursue this terrifically fun hobby. I purchased an AT Pro and have been trying to learn all the nuances, especially on the Pro Mode. I am very excited and need to brag about my first GOLD finds, discovered last week on a local soccer field. First found a women's 14K gold ring, registered at about 56. Than about 20 feet away I found a 14K gold eagle pendant, register in low 40's. I decided to go back to that soccer field a couple days later. On the way from parking lot to the field I was swinging my detector when I heard a solid 60 or so on my register. Dug down and found a men's 10K gold ring with black onyx. OKAY, I'm hooked forever. As soon as I can figure out how to post photos I will upload. Thanks to you all for listening to my bragging. Hopefully more to come soon.

Hopefully I was able to upload these photos of my recent gold finds with the AT Pro

Way cool. I get pull tabs at those readings. Where are you located?

Very nice gold finds. Bragging rights are perfectly ok here. A his ring and a her ring balances it out nicely. Throw in an Eagle pendant and it makes for some exciting times. Congratularions on your "firsts". May many more treasures come to be under your coil.

Hi Firstring, thanks for looking at my posting and also thanks for the permission to brag. LOL. I just bought the smaller coil (5" x 8") with the hope of finding even more gold. Like I said, I am now hooked!!

Nice work, Val. You're liable to start a gold rush around the Twin Cities with finds like that. Thank you for posting.

Nice finds Val. When you get time come down to SE, MN and lets go swinging!, I got a new ATP last Fall and found a couple rings myself, nothing like the lot you have ;) nice job!

Thanks to all for your kind and encouraging comments. YADAinMN, where are you located in SE MN?

Way to go Val. I love getting those beavertail readings. Means that the guy before me isn't digging them and is missing the gold.
