I went for a spin Sunday afternoon with the Excal, into a 146P -0.1L, light and variable winds and was in the water (late), by 145P. Headed straight for the deep mine, to avoid the crowds, but targets were scarce out there, so I moved in amongst the crowd, closer to shore. Put on a menacing stare and just ignored the kids, as I hunted. I have found that if you pretend you do not hear them, they move on and get bored with you. I hate interviews!

The trash to treasure ratio was kinda poor today, but made up for it in some quality pieces coming to hand. There was so much crap, I had to have Huntress take multiple pics to get it all! Hey, what can I say, I'm a sucker for a farty low-tone! Also not shown are my collapsible fishing pole and copper pipe tubing!

Had an interesting 1st today! An Eisenhower Bicentennial 1776-1976 Dollar!

The earring is 14K and the head, feet and tail wiggle and cool little pink eye stones! I recovered this piece earlier in the day and had a feeling it was a good piece, when I saw it in the scoop. Was close to calling it a day and got a nice strong tone. It was the 10K Josten's 1968 class ring, my oldest to date!

Mucho travajo, but worth it! I went back and did again today, but that's another story. Baled at 745P and I should have hunted longer!
