gold detecting

This is a great machine for coin and relic but unfortunately not well suited for gold prospecting.
Somewhere down the road I’d like to do some nugget hunting and I think that’s when I’d be looking at the Equinox 800 .
There are a bunch of gold machines out there
Good luck in your choice

CTX is a good gold machine in the right spot go where the pi's can't that would be iron infested places people with high dollar pi machines will not waste there time here unless they want to dig every stinking piece of iron. The ctx can disc out iron that's your advantage over a pi use it. sube

If your looking for gold nuggets then I would not recomend the ctx 3030 but instead the machines that are specific for that type of hunting. If your looking for gold rings and or jewelry then I would tell you it does awesome.

opps forgot to say that, there are more expensive machines that will go deeper if your hunting beaches with black sand. I know of a gpx machine that a friend was using and though I had the 17 inch loop and could get rings out at 18 inches or so, he was actually doing a better job of finding smaller gold rings at those depths and a bit deeper. maybe 2 ft 4 inches as best.

Prospect is the key word here. No.
