I have been fighting bladder cancer for 7 years now and 14 months ago It flared back up with a vengeance.
So I have not been able to hit any parks or schools in about 8 months. When the powers that be decided that my bladder had to be removed, I wasn't sure if I would be able to detect any more providing I survived the surgery.
It got so bad I decided to sell my beloved MXT and buy a new Coin GT so I could at least hit a few tots when I felt good while waiting for the surgery.
I must say I was very disappointed with the new machine and after giving it a very fare 2 months to prove it's self, I sold it.
Then I started to really miss my MXT. Now I really felt bad. So I decided what the heck, and bought a new one.
I took it out for a couple of hours a day or as long as I could last for about 3 days. In about 6 hours of hunting time, I found lots of trash and clad, 2 broken rings, some broken jewelry, an old silver bangle, several cheap pendants, another cheap ring, a pocket knife, and a beautiful 14 K yellow gold ladies gem stone ring @ 4 grams with a 2 K blue topaz stone down 5" deep.
That gold alone looked so good, it was worth the price I paid for the new detector.
I had to stop at that point and take care of business.
I am now out of the hospital and still have all the main body parts to swing my new Black Beauty.
All I could think about before and after the surgery was that Gold. It carried me thru.
Like the song say's : Nothing can help you but the yellow stuff.
It will be a couple of months before I can get back into the swing of things, but I know The Gold is waiting for me.
