Gold Crucifix Found At Soccer Field

Hi! My name is Treasure Mike. I am new to the forum and I thought I would post a picture of my latest find. I live in the Seattle area and I found this with my MXT using my new Big Foot coil. The crucifix was about two inches deep. I really am impressed with this coil. I can cover twice the area that I did with the stock coil. I have had the Big Foot for about a month now and I have had the good luck to find four gold rings with it in two weeks. I will post a picture in the near future of the eleven gold and five silver rings I have found since I got my MXT three months ago.

Hi Treasure Mike,

Nice crucifix. Sounds like you and the MXT are doing really well.

What I have found that works for me is to search the areas of sports fields where the most people gather. I suppose that's true for most sites. The entrances, exits, and spectator seating areas are good but they do have alot of trash. Although a fair amount of coins and jewelry can be found there. Using the Bigfoot coil in that type of enviornment can be challanging but it can be done. The coil is 18 inches long but it is only 3 inches wide. Your best bet using the Bigfoot, or stock coil for that matter, is the playing area of the sports fields. Most of my good finds have been around the goal area and the sidelines where the players sit and remove their sweats. I was told by one of the soccer players that they take off their jewelry before playing. So on ocassion rings and other items are lost. Searching grass fields produces the best results, while dirt fields give up the least. Probably because items lost there are often soon found by others. The Bigfoot covers alot of area quickly and has pretty good depth. Although I must admit the vast majority of my finds have been less than 4 inches in depth.
