Looks like folks with gold, silver & lots of coins been hiding them from time began--just within minds to hide & keep safe. hopefully, for poorer times whether in season or out of season which is a good thing but not for greed or selfishness! That is a find treasure hunters search for & are blessed when they find that POT OF GOLD which is a rare occassion or the value by finding & selling too many would cause value to decrease! Ronstar, how long have you been detecting? Do you test any gold items on your machine?

About 10 years now. I have a mans busted 14k ring (lawn mower) and a womens 14k white gold test rings. Busted ring does not even register. Friend has gold coins he collects and I got to check, from $1 to $20 they show nickel to dime ranges.
The area I play is student athletic field etc, a lot of silver rings, one tungsten carbide, but no all gold yet. Its just a matter of time.
