Gold coin from 1906

Gold half sovereign of Edward VII King of England from 1901-1910. Found by my friend Steve today in England. I came up empty handed today, nothing worthwhile. Roughly equivalent to a US 2 1/2 gold coin size wise. About the size of a US five cent piece.

Congrats to your friend! "Very Nice"

Nice coin , yours is better than mine though mine was found on a beach in a 9k Gold ring last year. That was 1906 also. Weeks later I found a George V 1912 Half Sovereign in a 9k 1g mount and that one was mint. Nothing like finding Gold. :)

Excellent !

Thanks E-TRAC-OHIO
