GOLD Coin after 34 years of detecting,,,

Waterman

Member
I finally found my 1st Gold Coin this morning while doing a water hunt with the DF PI, it was a double strike as it is inside a 14K mans Gold ring, weighs 12.1g and is a MEXICO ESTADOS UNIDOS 1940 2 PESOS GOLD COIN. The ring gave a good sounding signal and was just over 12" deep, I'm not sure if my Excal would have found it or not as I have been over this area a couple times in the past. Now if I could just find a Silver dollar some day.

Thanks for Looking,,,H.H.

Happy dance time..........:wiggle:......congratulations.

If your finding gold...who cares about the silver...lol

1400 bucks versus 27.50 bucks...I'll take the gold Bob!!!!

HH,

Congrats Waterman, I have been detecting since 1977 and only found one gold coin in a pendant, in a Totlot. Mind you I mainly hunt nuggets.
