Gold class ring returned after 14 years.

Gold class ring found over 2000 miles away from its owner and returned 14 years later. Tracking her down wasn't easy but I managed to contact her via Skype and her reaction was priceless. This is whats it's all about! Karma! Happy hunting! Pass on the karma!

I said this in the "Today's Finds" forum, but, you deserve to hear it twice for this one! Tones, you are the kind of person that makes this hobby special.......your integrity is commendable! Nice save and even nicer return!!

You get another star in your crown for this one........

Good deeds do not go unrewarded.

Nicely done Doc! :clapping: Nicely done, indeed.:clap: You exemplify what this hobby is all about. HH Randy

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's so much more fun and memorable to solve a mystery and make someone happy than to unload some ring at a pawn shop. This one was a little harder than usual though just because she had been married since she lost it so her initials weren't the same as on the ring. Good times. BTW she put it in her jacket pocket when she was going to dance practice and she threw her jacket in the car and noticed that her pocket had spilled out onto the seat. She thought her car had claimed it but it must have fallen out when she opened the door.
