Gold class ring #5 AND a pretty cool silver pendant!

REVIER

Well-known member
Dug 3 other low zinc signals in a row at this park in an area between a volleyball and a basketball court, can slaw every time.
Got this 4th signal, a 47-49 on the F70, expected another piece of can but it wasn't.
8.8. grams of 10k gold...my gold fever has finally gone away for a bit.

On my way back to the truck I got a signal in the mid 50's.
Another surprise, turned out to be a 1954 brass English Farthing coin sandwiched between two pieces of plastic and inserted into a pendant holder that turned out to be silver.

I believe this was actually made in 1954 and eventually made it's way over here.
I found several other English coins here in the past, not sure why all this British stuff is hanging around here but this is the coolest target yet.

Silver and gold on the same hunt, can life get any better?

Those are both outstanding finds! You sure got finding those big gold class rings down!:clapping: Nice work!

Thank you, mud.

This is exactly why I dig all solid signals including and especially trash from foil on up.
I can avoid a lot of garbage because my Fishers won't lock on to about 80-85% of it most of the time, the solid stuff is always dug.
I still dig a lot of trash, there is still a ton of that solid type out there, but once one of these golden trash targets pop up it all becomes worth it.
