Took the chain I found Saturday to a local coin shop that I have been selling some of my gold to have it tested as it turns out it was 14k at 20" long and over 7 grams it was worth 154.00 not bad for a walk in the park. The wife was giving me a hard time about my meager finds for 7hrs detecting but after I showed her the cash not so much now. Anyhow with the extra cash allowed me to buy a couple of coins to add to my collection I bought a 1909 o Barber quarter and a 1902 Barber half. Today I went to the park that had a Summer Festival all weekend found lots of change the cleansweep really is amazing on fresh drops the long grass did not hide any coins from the DeLeon I will probably go back there a time or two this week to make sure I did not miss any jewelry so here's the goods from today's hunt.
