No. It is useless on wet salt sand but works perfectly in the dry.
 
It's good info. The GB2 gets a big thumbs down for wet saltwater sand hunting.
 
My pleasure. I speak from experience. I took one into the wet sand once. It sounded off like I was trying to kill it...
