Got back out with the retuned G.B. today to the spot I got the S.C. 1-piece last week and got 3 more button's one was an eagle -I with some gold and this sucker was pretty dang deep in the iron...Love the modulated audio on the Gold Bug combined with the extra quite high gain ...Unreal what a deep quite machine with butt loads of power can accomplish in hunted out places...

Thanks for looking...

o'yeah check out the 3-Ringer drop with the casting flaw in the side pretty neat!!!

I have found some DEEP dimes on the beach with my GB SE and they came in as soft, repeatable 'ticks' that may or may not ID right on, but they are unmistakeable as to being a good target.

This is I have found with this machine, the nickels, foil, tabs hit A LOT harder, louder and deeper than the clad dimes, pennies and quarters. Also, found really deep, greenie quarters that ID in the mid 80's consistently. And you can run this unit at 100% gain and it's quiet.

The Gold Bug is a keeper for sure.
