Gold Bug ground balance question.

Mike Hillis

Well-known member
How many of you ground cancel with just the Ground Grab feature?

When you ground cancel with the Ground Grab feature, and then check your ground balance by selecting pinpoint and bobbing the coil, it is spot on or is is off just a little?

Thanks in advance.

It is usually spot on. but remember to not set the sensitivity too high when your setting the gb or the threshold will be very inconsistant and you will not be able to tell if it is on or not.

Yes bobbing over the same spot is good, remember to go to all metal and see if the spot is clear. I one time had to dig in all metal the first hole and then ground balanced to that spot.

Hey,Ken I wish I was not in a park or I could do that. It is amazing how much metal trash a park that is at least 70 year's old has in it.

Jim I was in a park and I found a pull tab.
