I hope to go to the GNRS hunt next year and have the Gold Bug 2, Do I need to go with a new Fisher unit or can this Gold Bug 2 find Civil War iteams ?????? Thanks Jack
 
If it will properly I.D. iron, and you have a big loop it should work fine, as it is a high-gain detector.
