Howdy all, just found this forum. anyone in or around Colorado Springs with advice on where to detect? just starting out and have no idea where to start.
 
You might try the local prospecting shop. Also down load The mineral resource data for your county and you can see where all the mining is happening or happened..

Here you go make sure you only download a county at a time or you will be there a long time!
down load in google earth format and the info is overlaid into your google earth. If you dont have Google earth thats the first place to start!
