Has anyone used it there to hunt jewelry?

I'm just curious if it performed in wet sand or did you need to stick to dry sand only?
 
Assuming we're not talking about black sand beaches, what kind of depth did you find, on average, on wet salt sand?
 
From my experience the GB2 finds targets from the surface to 5 inches or so. It will occasionally find coins up to 14 inches but that is not the norm, the norm is surface to 3 inches and the GB 2 does not love silver, it loves gold. I found a clad quarter that was down about 14 inches and several others at 12 inches. That was under ideal contentions, under the wet sand at a playground.

I dug a tungsten ring a 12 inch, an a silver ring @ 8 inches. So the G2 and the Gold bug DP/ Pro are good there !!!!
 
Ken, when you found the deep rings, were you hunting in all metal or with discrimination?
