Gold bug 2?????

No not for just gold yes for coins and jewelry it goes deep
 
The GB2 was designed only for gold prospecting, with no accommodation for other uses. Which is why it's still popular for gold prospecting 16 years after its introduction.

It will detect all metals, but I highly un-recommend it for any use other than gold prospecting.

If you're looking for a multipurpose gold machine, check out the Fisher GB Pro and Teknetics G2. Not only are they good on gold, they have what is regarded by many as the best iron trash discrimination in the industry regardless of price.
