Well as luck would have it, I just made a trade for a fisher gb2 in mint condition!! I traded it for an engagement ring that I've held on to for way too long. Just one of those great days :) hopefully his engagement will be better than mine lol good times. Now the hunt for new gold commences. One happy camper, just thought I'd share the excitement. Happy hunting.
 
Most exciting and underated machine ever made. I laugh when people say they don't find coins because those Gold Bug II's will find everything... and at great depth. Now sharpen your shovel and go have a blast!... Good Luck!

Congratulations on the gold bug 2 find.... I just found one used myself after a long search and it screams on small test flakes I have...... We recently moved out to Arizona so as soon as the weather cools will be putting it to a larger test out in the Goldfields of the Bradshaw Mountains.

You ought to do a search for an author on this foum called "ANT".

He uses a GB2 and he has some videos posted as well.

Very useful and inspirational.
