Gold bug 2 info

I'd like some info on the Gold Bug 2, pro and con, how bad it is on hot rocks, how small of gold it will pick up, and how deep in highly mineralized ground, and any other things good or bad about it. Thanks
 
The GB 2 is the best small gold machine, down to pin head size, especially with the 6.5" coil but it can be difficult to use in highly mineralized soil. The iron discrimination mode helps but you lose sensitivity to the smallest nuggests. Talk to Mr. Bill about the F75 instead.
