GOLD AT THE OLD SCHOOL

Hey ya'll, bought a t4 yesterday for a backup and after work went to the old closed school down the road to give it a test drive. Put my 10" coil on it did a little air testing and took off. On my 3rd dig come up with a gold ring, but it was broken, still exciting. All in all I found 1 1965 quarter, 6 Nichols(1 was a 1940) 4 Penny's 1 modern bullet that was mushroomed 3 alum. tabs 1 screw cap 2 nails that looks to be copper or something 1 piece of copper plate. Having been using a qd2, the t4 took some getting use to. Been listening to you t4 users and started from there with my settings, what did surprise me was if I made slow sweeps I didn't get the deeper signals, was experimenting and speed up my sweeps and started picking up deeper signals, when I say fast I mean fast. Is this normal for t4? I also found I could pin point faster. I did dig everything that didn't give off a large large signal. Thanks for looking and hh

well the t 4 is a good detector my son has one and we do just as good with it as my titan 2000, my titan goes a little deeper i think though , i have a 10 inc coil on it happy hunting! scott charp

hahaha, good going, beavertail! i just knew you would soon hit the good stuff. there's nothing like pulling gold out the ground! congrats, there's prolly more there too. never heard of such a fast sweep tho. but if it works...hh,
