gold at cali beaches

I am reading everything i can, but i just cant get solid answers or enough invormation. Maybe the fact that all the post are florida beaches and so on might already answer my question. Might look at lakes in northern california. What a bummer. Any one have ideas please help.

Get out and swing the detector, that's how you find gold. I hunt in Cabo area of Mexico, it took me three weeks before I found gold. I am now up to 105 rings, not all gold mostly silver and about 20% junkers.
Make sure you do the paths to and from the beach and the volley ball courts when not in use.
Good luck

Gerry

NO! THERE IS NO GOLD ON CALIFORNIA BEACHES! STAY AWAY! All the gold is in Florida

It has been awhile since my last gold ring here on the Southern California beaches, probably because of the cooler weather at this time of the year. You'll see lots of beach goers but very, very few people going in the water with the results of not finding gold rings. The cooler weather does not stop me from detecting but I'm looking forward to 80-90F weather at the beach because then you'll see the people slap on that slick sun-tan lotion and you know what happens then!!!!!! the rings slide off!!!
This 14K and 14.5 gram gold ring, while not the best ring I detected last year, was a nice heavy gold ring from a SoCal beach....So...... I'll be hitting the beaches hard this year when the weather warms up!! This time of the year is best for hunting ghost towns and the like because the deserts are still cool!

We've it Santa cruz area on weekdays, a few months back. Looked up and down the beach at sunrise... at least ten other detectors.... BOOO! Buddy got 2 silver rings. Best we've ever done.
