Gold and Silver ring :) :minelab:

Went out for a couple of hours and dug this ring. I didn't know they put gold tops on silver rings:confused: but I'm not complaining :) Does anybody know if they still make rings like this? Hope you all have a great weekend!!

NICE FIND -AND YES THEY STILL MAKE RINGS THAT WAY-I HAVE ONE THAT IS 18KT
AND STERLING -WHAT WERE THE NUMBERS--CURT

Most new rings that are gold and silver are marked 925 and whatever karat gold. This looks to be nice and old. All my rings that are gold and silver are old. Another person says they do. I have no idea myself. Nice find though.

Curt it came in at 00-28. I was thinking it was a little older ring..I am hoping there is more out there :super:

[size=large]what about the quality knife you found? that's made in the u.s.a. isn't it?

That's a good one!.........................................nice find...........................................John

Beats the heck out of all the new SS, TI, and junk jewelry people seem to be wearing now days. Nice ruby stone as well. That looks like something from the 50's. Thats one excellent find.

Awesome ring! The only ring I have found with comparable markings is a WWII era aviators ring. Hope the time-frame helps. Good luck. JJ
