Gold and Silver from the river

Got up at 5am this morning and went to the river. I usually just bring my Vibrotector but I just got some Tony Eisenhower headphones for my NOX so I brought that. It’s a few miles of a hike and with all my diving gear and weight belt, I come home exhausted. My first find was the fat silver necklace, found it with my pinpointed. I had on my GoPro and managed to record that find but the river was ripping to hard I pulled my GoPro off my head. Luckily I caught it with my detector as it was floating down the rapids. The bracelet is 14k and the gold colored ring I’m not sure about. It’s pretty heavy but there’s no hallmark. I found a bunch of ear rings and also some loose stones. I’m sure they’re all fake. After the hunt my friend and I got some Phó. A pretty perfect Saturday.

Great hunt Zac sound like the current was tough to battle. It doesn't look like you have much competition LOL Are you hunting I sand or gravel?
Feel free to share on the Equinox forum, thanks in advance.

Nice finds diving looks like it paid off!

In the area of the river I’m hunting its sand and fist size rocks. My friend found a crow bar that ended up being very useful to pry up rocks and scrape at the compacted sand. My NOX 800 was great! With it I was able to find the spots where the heavy items end up. Then I would clear out that spot till all the clad and bottle caps were gone. Then the good stuff. Also, that ring that I had doubts about being gold cleaned up nicely and weighs 10.7g, which seems about right if it’s solid gold. Also it passed the magnet test. I ordered a gold testing kit but it hasn’t arrived yet.

Zac, you had a great day out at the river. It looks like you and the Nox are becoming one by the pic's. Continued Success to you.

those are some really great finds

Thanks you guys. I just got a diamond tester and the diamond on the gold ring and the little ones on the gold bracelet all test good. The silver chain weighs 1/4 lbs. I think it was my best day ever as far as valuable finds.
