one other I found a few years back I used a compound made for removing light scratches from windshields to get the scratches out. Alloyed Platinum is some pretty hard stuff.

Hope it is and that is a nice one Joe found.

I took my platinum ring a jeweler and he told me to get it to shine they would have to remove metal I told them forget it its 13.6 grams and I didn't want to lose any of it
