gold and deleon

On my Cortez it is pretty low 14 to 28 for small to large Rings.

Best thing to do is run it over different size rings I have found them anywhere from foil to zinc and from 10-60 depending on the size of ring and the gold content of the ring. When I am hunting a place that may produce gold rings I will carry a gold ring or two to run the D over them at the start or during the hunt to focus on that type of signal and it has helped me hit the rings.

Too hard to answer. Gold falls over the place on the conductivity scale. So on single range works.

In general, if have set your detector's discrimination about "FOIL", you have just knocked out about 80% of the gold jewlery you hope to find.

Keep it as far below "FOIL" as you can stand for best results.

I agree with this. Most reports are usually low 20's to 64.

I've had my DeLeon for nearly nine years (dont know if the numbering has changed since then) but the range for the gold rings I've found goes from 11 (quite small) to 67 (quite large). HH
