Well, He did it again. Same yard about 10 feet from the first. About 5 inches down, settings on the silver was set on foil. He has found about 20 keepers in the yard.It used to be a farm and on the property and they used to sell and trade horses. The new coin is on the right the 1909. Thanks for looking

That is freakin' unreal ! They say good things come in three's, go find that 3rd gold coin....

2 out of the same yard. That is just too cool.

Great pictures.

Possible cache.... was buried and disturbed due to movement of ground, and, or old building torn down and dirt spread out over an area..... with coins being moved around in the process.

Simply put hit the yard again and dig the iffies...Eltons post sure has merit as once found 6 large cents in a 6 foot circle and never even thought there was one in the area I was hunting...
One gold coin great...two gold coins in same yard (priceless)

Oh yea, He is digging everything. He has found about 20 keepers from this yard. The great part is, the yard is huge and he still hasn't covered it all. Any available hunting time is being spent there. Dan

How much are they worth? I think the silver paid for its self on that find!

He took them to a local coin dealer and he offered 450.00 a piece for them. He plans on keeping both though as he don't need the money right now.
