What type area are you hunting and what are the ID numbers on the rings. I'm going to guess a swim area.It is swimming area, now drained.
Salt water lake with gravel bed.
Smaller ring IDs about 50 and bigger one is 62.
G2 has some problems with ID from surface but I manage.
Most of times ID shows 80-90s (surface gravel) and after uncovering some gravel it is showing ID in 70
when I get to wet (salty) gravel it shows real ID.
