Going to visit eastern West virginia next week, need some ideas.

I will be in the Harpers Ferry area for a few days next week while my wife does some research. That leaves me some free time to do some detecting. We are making the trip from out west and do not know the area at all.

I would appreciate any info about places I could possibly hunt within a 30-40 mile radius of Harpers Ferry. I forget the name of the town my wife needs to visit but I know it is in the general area of Harpers Ferry. We will also be spending some time in the DC area (Alexandria Virginia) and I have heard it is not legal to hunt the parks there. Are there similar laws in West Virginia?

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and happy hunting

Robert
