Going to Nag heads in mid June. Never tried the X-70 on the beach. I have the:

18.75 KHG Double D coil
9" KHG Concentric coil
9" 3 KNZ coil

Which one for digging sand (OK , I know you don't use the coil for diggin') Any other tips.
 
If I end up at the beach this year, in Oregan then I will run the 10 X 5 HF DD and/or the 10.5 MF DD.

Which HF DD coil do you have as there are 3?
 
Elvis...The 10X5 DD HF coil is great on the beach. Not only will you finds coins you will fine a lot of gold items, necklaces,rings, ear rings etc. I us both the 10X5 DD and the 10.5 DD and have been very happy with both. HH TomB
