you got hunting right out the back door of the hotel. from johns pass to sunset beach and all places in between. you won't need a buddy, wait til you see the width of the beach. good luck,

You will be in an area that has miles of beaches to hunt with out getting out of sight of your room if you are staying on the beach.I have stayed in the IIander Inn many times at Treasure Island, few miles south is St. Pete beach and North a few miles Is Clearwater Beach. Sand Key park is just south of Clearwater very busy place. Now for the bad news I have counted in the water at Clearwater as many as 12 Guys and Gals at one time hunting. so I am sure all the Beaches in that area get hit on a regular basis. There is a bus system you can use to travel up and down the beach fairly cheap. Good Luck and hope you get some of the Gold. If it wasn't for the tourist like you comming to Fl. we would be finding very little at our beaches. HH

Thank you for the comments everyone. Hope I meet some of you down there. Was planning to hunt near Clearwater in addition to right outside my door. I've got early mornings and after dinner to hunt from 9/26 until 9/31 and am really looking forward to it.

Sill like to hook up with some of you. Never hunted the beach before and I will have a new to me HH wader which means a learning curve on pinpointing.
