Going to pick up a new AT Pro this afternoon

I love my Cibola, but my wife needs something more powerful than her BH. She likes the Cibola so I said I would surrender it for an upgrade. :) I really enjoyed splashing around in the shallows with the Cibbie, but always worried about the control box getting wet. After going back and forth on a Tiger Shark or a Tejon, my research led me to the AT Pro. When looking at the features and the fact that it's submersible, I don't think it can be beaten at that price point. So I am going to pick one up in a few hours. Hopefully I'll get some swing time in this weekend.

Thanks Les. I'll post again once I have more to report!

Careful about letting the wife use the new AT-Pro or you might be back to using the Cibola:rofl:

I hope you enjoy your AT Pro as much as I have. Looking forward to seeing your finds.

If you have any concerns or questions, just ask. Don't forget that there are a bunch of excellent videos on the Garrett Site.

No finds of note yet, John. But I did take my AT Pro on its first lakebed hunt today. Not much out there to find, and I was stopped short by diving a little too deep and hurting one of my eardrums, but the AT Pro performed beautifully in and out of the water.

I was down at about 13 or 14 feet, but left the detector floating at the surface.
