Going to pick up a F75

Ok Some of you may remember me I had a T2 and did not like it. Was told that I may have gotten a bad one so I am going to give First Texas one more try with the F75. Dave had a hand in building it and I like my MXT and my shadow X5 that he also helped build. So I will give the F75 a spin and see what happens.

Power to spare! (avoid the running it too hot temptation) Perfect weight and balance, excellent ID system, astounding battery life, tons of modes and Audio settings...you name it, it's got it going on! One heck of a detector...and the folks on this forum are great to help out with any pointers too!

i think you should avoid it, you had plenty bad to say about the t-2, it could of had a problem with it.

It is a terrific detector. Give it enough time to see what it truly can do and you will never look back. Good luck and HH jim tn

Got The F75 last night. Took it out this morning and tried a spot I have found quite a few civil war bullets in the past. Targets are getting scarce here so I did not expect to much. Hot as he!! so I was able to detect for about 1 and a half hours before it was to hot to breath. Started out factory settings. Did Ground balance and off I go nothing so I turn the sensitivity up to about 70. Just till it starts to get noisy and back it off to 68. Pick up one shot gun shell. Then I decide to turn the descrimination to 0 to see if there is any iron around. Wow talk about going crazy had to back the sensitivity down to about 37 to get it to calm down. Started hunting with these settings and dug a couple pieces of large Iron DEEEEP. Then got a signal that was back and forth iron and a good tone. Dig down about 6 inches and a nice small round ball. Pretty cool next signal same thing iron good signal mixed. Dig a plug and go over the hole again the iron signal is gone and it is all good. about 10in deep a nice bullet three ringer fired about a 56cal. After this I dug one more modern bullet and It was to hot to hunt any more. First time out was not bad at all two civil was bullets out of a spot that has been hunted a lot.
