Going to Mississippi

John D.

New member
Hello It is John D. again,
I am going to Mississippi next week for my 4th time to help with the Katrina Relief Effort. I would like to search the beach after work each day, however the last thing I would ever want to do is offend the wonderful people of Long Beach MS. What is your opinion on this, would you take your detector or not?
Thanks,
John D.

Hey J.D., I live in Biloxi and I think it would be OK to bring your detector and use it on the beach, The beaches are now opening for use and I have been detecting them for the last month, I have seen several other Hunters on them too. They have sifted the beach with 3/8 inch sifters, so nothing much is left unless you can find an area that has not been sifted. I did find a few clads and about 50 dollar slot tokens from the President casino at one spot that was not sifted.
