Wish I could go with you but other plans are in the way. Try in front of the Holiday Inn and work your way under the pier and on up the beach. Actually, just about anywhere can produce as most of the front beach houses are rentals in season so there is usually a turnover of people every week. You might also go further up the beach to the Washout area. That's where most of the surfing is. Anyway, hope you have a good time and make some good finds. Let us know how you do. Sure wish I could hunt with you. btw, in case you haven't checked the tides, here they are:

Friday, 4/25 low tide at 5:45a, 0.8 ft. and 5:25p, 0.8 ft. Sat. 4/26 low tide at 6:28a, 0.9 ft and 6:11p, 0.9 ft.
Sun. 4/27 low tide at 7:16a, 0.9 ft. and 7:05p, 1.0 ft.

As you can see, the tides are running a little high but the crowds should be getting thicker now and you just might have some luck. HH!!

This is a late Saturday evening post, Let us know if you found anything-goldnugget-Charlotte.NC I may be in the area around May 13 th.
If they would quit dumping the rocks on the end of the dunes toward the Lighthouse you might find some C W Bullets. They are real black for some reason and will get your hand dirty. Just keep digging even if you get some pull tabs or fishing weights.
