Going behind Cibola and Silver Sabre is slim pickings

Today I decided to take my Euro Sabre down to the big playground at the river. I found my first gold there. It's a big play ground and I have hunted it with both my Cibola and my Silver Sabre uMax. I tried to get all the nails out of it that I could for the kids and to make it better to hunt jewelery. I removed well over 300 nails from there.

I wanted to see if I could find anything with the Euro.

I didn't find hardly any thing jewelry wise. I found $0.02 in coins. What I did find was a ton of nails, screws, nuts and bolts that I didn't pick up with the Cibola or the Silver. I mean they are every where, even where I tried real hard to clean them out. There were paper clips, tacks, pieces of wire and so on. But hardly anything worth finding.

Here is some of the little stuff I found. Look how small that rusted piece of a fish hook is.

The small round thing in the lower right was under the piece of rusted nail above it in the photo. I was able to hear both responses at the same time. I knew there were two objects there before I dug them. That's never happened to me before.

Stay warm & cozy,

Interesting Tabdog.

There was something there to find.

The last two lines about the double signal are something to think about too.

I just realized that there is another reason that I was able to hear two responses at once. I have recently acquired a set of Killer Bs headphones. They have grown to my head when I'm metal detecting and are so natural now that I already take them for granted. I wouldn't want to do without them now.

I think being able to hear clearly made a difference as well as having a MD that is able to see through a degree of masking,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

makes me feel kind of lucky:)

It's good to be alive and not miss all this,

is a clean and decent Euro Sabre. As of Tesoro's June 2002 announcement to dealers about the Euro Sabre they had less than 200 units available for the US and Canadian market. I know a few of those went overseas in sales/trades, but with that small number available they just don't surface that often for sale.

If you get tired of yours, drop me an E-mail. :)

Monte

PS: I'm not holding my breath because even though they are not depth monsters, they certainly have their performance strengths and that's why folks hang onto them.
