I have a 1270 coming with a Fisher 6X inline probe coming. I just unload my second F5. I don't know I have tried the F5,Gold Bug,AT Pro etc and these detectos just aren't holding my interest they all seem the same if you know what I mean .Maybe its because they take the fun out of detecting telling you whats there more or less. I'll see what happens with 1270

Good post, I am thinking along the same line, can't wait to get my 1270 back from FT. I have a pretty good supply of coils that will fit both the 1270 and 1266x, I even landed one of those rare 5x10 elliptical coils a couple of weeks back.
