I finally got u[p the gumption to ask him some questions in regard to his affinity for detecting school yards.......and let me tell u again....he's The Man! Took his advice and spent a bit under an hour at the local high school.Took home a little over a dollar in clad, cleaned up a bunch of trash form the school and I have barely scratched the surface....literally. I was only skimming the surface with my pinpointer and came out with coins, so once i get the area cleared of some of the debris no telling what else may turn up.

On a side note....I plan to travel to a differetn school as well, maybe one in a neighborhood that isn't quite as lower/middle class as mine is

Figure kids with more money to tote around will be more likely to drop some of it

[size=large]i visited a high school football practice field this last two weeks. came away with i silver ring, one st. christ medal ( sterling silver ) and $8.03. i was told not to bother with this site as it was hunted to death. the ring was the first target found and done in the first ten minutes. it's alot cleaner now for sure.

Thanks Mudd...I am not sure if I am "The Man"...I know of others who find more than I do, but I think that for what I have in my area, that I do not leave much in my wake...I Do have to start digging more of them 30-40 signals, because I might be leaving behind small gold objects if I do not...
