Goes4ever TTF settings @ old fairgrounds

Tonight I worked a small heavy iron area with TTF and got a few keepers. The 1853 LC read a solid 12 47 and at 3 inches I expected a clad quarter.(of course I nicked the rim). The 1898 S Barber quarter was one of those deep thunky type signals that just begged to be investigated. I am starting to really like TTF. In Conductive tones the 1901 Barber was another squeel thunk thunk that was 9 inches down. The rolled penny has the Lords Prayer on it. It may be my new good luck charm.

Nice, I have never dug a large cent in just grass. All of mine have been in farm fields. I would flip out to dig one in a yard. Nice collection of finds. I need to work on the TTF. I tried it the other night and I am not sure it is running right. Something to try another day. Thanks, for posting.

I used to use lots of discrimination two tone conductive. for the past 6 month i now use all metal, TTF. With this setting my theory is that all of the power to the coil with less discrimination provides better depth. the noise doesnt bother me, i can move thru the ground faster only listening for the high tone of the TTF. Finds have seem to increase.

I too use the TTF at selective locations. Actually last night I took my trusty Etrac to my front yard (100 year old home site) to investigate the constant nulling I've gotten in the past years. Actually ran an open screen with TTF and to my amazement a carpet of nails spaced 6-8" apart over the whole yard, no wonder it is hard to get a good signal in that kind of mess. I did manage to locate a few non ferrous targets that will be extracted a little (so my wife doesn't notice all the digging) at a time to see what they are. Makes me wonder just how much masking is taking place.

Hello everybody..
I can't find full settings for Goes4ever Etrac TTF (recovery fast, deep, ground, trash etc)..
Can anyone to post here ?

Thank,s !

Great finds.
Ferrous tones are my goto in iron infested fields. The larger the coil, the slower the sweep in order to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Congrats on the great finds !

I only hunt in two modes: Andy's coin program and TTF. I switch back and forth depending on iron density. TTF is tough for long periods of time when there are a lot of conductive trash targets mixed with the iron.
