God quickened this to me today, but don't know why! Maybe it will help someone reading the posts, for God knows all things! ......

PSALM 30 verses 1 thru 12.

Verse 1 I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

Verse 2. O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

Verse 3. O LORD, thou has brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

Verse 4. Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Verse 5. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Verse 6. And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

Verse 7. LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

Verse 8. I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

Verse 9. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

Verse 10. Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

Verse 11. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

Verse 12. To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee forever. (KJV)

I listen to the KJSL Christian station from midnight to 2:00 am when Big Daddy Al the trucker is on, although his partner Preacher Man, has been on in his place because he's trying to make money to keep the program on the air! They talked about trials and difficulties and read in the Psalm before and after Psalm 30. I should have called in and read Psalm 30, but I was so tired and sore from detecting, I just couldn't get out of bed and call, so I missed another opportunity to witness to someone who really needed encouraging! So, a stripe for me for not obeying the Lord!

Have you ever been so tired that you couldn't sleep? Well that's the way I was last night and am today! I guess the scripture, I can do all things in Christ Who strengthens me, I didn't trust and obey completely! :)
