Beachhunter ID Tips for Significantly Increasing Depth.
- turn on the BH & go through the normal set up (steps 2 through 4)
-set sens to pre-set with mode switch in disc mode.
-turn threshold control to faint threshold
-set mode switch to all-metal mode& ground balance machine normally
-after ground balancing & while still in the all-metalmode, turn the sen. to max. the threshold will change to a high shrill.
-hit the reset to return to a normal threshold
-return to the all metal mode & re-do the ground balance. there will be a narrower window within which to balance at this time.
-leave the mode switch in all-metal mode & begin hunting. there will be a marked improvement in depth.
-*** NOTE ***- there will no longer be tone identification between targets. However , the target identification lights will still be accurate
I had noticed this while playing with mine but did not know it could be useful. I'm going to try it this weekend and see how it does, figured yall might want to try it too!!!!
